Summer in Davos

This painting created by Ernest Ludwig Kirchner in 1925  is known as "Summer in Davos". His use of three different colors for the mountains was the first thing that drew me into this painting. This painting, in particular, caught my eye because of Kirchner's use of color. I like his use of purple and red, such as in the mountains and trees. I also like how he includes pops of different colors within the buildings that aren't really used in the surrounding nature.
