This painting known as “Skull” created by Jean-Michel Basquiat in 1981 at first may simple, but with a close look it is actually very detailed. Inside the skull there are numerous lines and shapes in various colors. His work is almost child-like, but displays a lot of detail and color. I liked this painting because of the detail inside the skull, as well as the colors used. Although his art is not typical, his unique style is attention-grabbing, and one you’ll remember.
