I chose this painting because initially I didn't notice the woman laying nude. I enjoy the foreground of the piece with the calm nature despite the woman laying there almost lifeless. This image almost looks to be depicting a crime scene with the way the woman is positioned. This painting also appears like a photo and not a painting.
