I prefer Matisee's paintings over Picasso's. Personally my eye is just drawn more towards Matisse, I find the vibrant colors to really stand out that he uses. Such as this painting by Matisse, it has many colors and it just gives off a fun, happy vibe. I've noticed just like the article had said that in Matisse'e paintings we see the decorative whereas in Picasso's we see the destructive. Picasso had very abstract paintings which I didn't really care for as much.
