I chose this painting My Grandparents, My Parents, and Me because it shows her family history but in a very weird manner. The middle couple is her parents and within her moms dress shows pre mature Frida. Towards the left of her mother is her parents, to the right of her father is his parents. There is a ribbon connecting both of the grandparents that is being held by young Frida. The young Frida is also standing in a home surrounded by the desert. I assume this is her childhoods home in Mexico.
