Marcel Duchamp- Fountain

Marcel made this sculpture called 'fountain' in 1917. I chose this sculpture because I don't think this is art work in my opinion. He took something that's already made, took it out of its functional purpose, and put his name on it. I do not think that is art, and I do not like this piece. He didn't paint it different colors, or try to make it look different. He just put it on a platform and painted 'R. Mutt 1917' on it. That's like taking somebody else's paper, paraphrasing a sentence or two, and putting your name on it.
