The artwork that I decided to choose is the Burning Giraffe by Salvador Dali. I chose this artwork because it was intriguing, the giraffe burning in the background is something that caught my eye right away. The two tall humans are wrapped up in teal clothes are extremely tall, one is holding a strap of cloth, and one has storage drawers coming from the thigh. I think that it is a symbol for humans always taking unneeded things from nature. It's interesting that this was painted right before his exile from the United States from 1940 to 1948.
