Portrait of Chess Players (1911)

This cubism piece done by Marcel Duchamp really stood out to me. By taking a quick look at this, it looks like a bunch of random colors and shapes bunched together. But if you take a step back and really analyze this piece, you start to see the little nuisances melding together to create the two chess players. This is a brilliant piece of work by Duchamp. For him to be able to envision this piece and execute this style the way he did is truly a masterpiece.
