I decided to pick this painting of Frida's because it represents a very important part and time of her life. It shows her mindset at the time because of her injuries. She was suffering from a lack of appetite due to her serious injuries and she was prescribed a forced diet by her doctor. This painting also shows that even though Frida may not have seen the light at the end of the tunnel, she still made it through the hardest point of her life.
